Last weekend saw the annual Chatsworth Country Fair take place, and we at the Traditional Log Company were there on stand B4 showcasing our air-dried logs.
We would just like to take the time to thank all of the customers who came to our stand to say hello, and discuss our logs with us.
It is always a great pleasure to speak to each and everyone of you. As always, the show proved to be plenty of fun for all.

The winter months are fast approaching, making now the perfect time to get your firewood delivered and stacked in advance. Currently we will deliver to addresses within a 10 mile radius of our base at Onecote for free. If you live further afield, please give us a call for a fixed price – we deliver firewood in Staffordshire, Derbyshire and Cheshire.
We currently offer a number of different ways of supplying your firewood.
Our first method is Le Grand Baluchon, which is a bale of air-dried, hardwood logs. These are all 1 metre in length, ready for you to cut to the lengths that are best for your own fireplace or stove. This is a common way of receiving firewood in France. As far as we know, we are the only company that is offering this in the UK. Each of these bales contain 1 cubic metre of logs.
If you would prefer your logs to be ready cut, we have the Loose Cubic Metre available. Each of these air-dried hardwood logs are cut to 10 inches in length, making them ideal for most wood-burning stoves. If you would like a quotation for stacking these logs upon delivery, please give us a call.
Our final way of supplying firewood is Le Petit Baluchon. This is a small bale of air-dried, hardwood logs, all 10 inches in length. These small bales are our alternative to those nasty orange bags you can find at the petrol station. Each of these bales will contain between 12 and 14 logs, and are perfect for slotting into our small log ring.
